MORPHEUS 8
REMODEL YOUR FACE AND BODY
Morpheus 8 is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin and microneedling to create controlled tissue trauma. This heat and mechanical trauma stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that give skin strength and elasticity. As a result, Morpheus 8 treatment can help improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.
The Morpheus 8 device uses a handpiece that is applied to the skin. The handpiece contains a number of tiny needles, between 12 and 40, depending on the area treated. Once the needles are in the skin, they emit radiofrequency energy just at the tip, which heats the deeper layers of the skin. This energy helps to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, which becomes visible on the surface of the skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Before your treatment
After your medical consultation, we will discuss some pre-appointment advice that will help ensure the best possible results for your treatment.
It is best to harsh exfoliating treatments and potent active ingredients (retinoids and exfoliants) for 2-3 days before your treatment.
We prefer if you can arrive without make-up on your skin.
Photographs will be taken for your medical records, and we will take your consent to the procedure.
There is always an opportunity to ask more questions; we don’t have to start treatment until you are happy.
During your treatment
After removing the numbing cream, we will thoroughly cleanse the skin to reduce the risk of infection.
We usually start treatment on the lower cheeks and work our way across the whole face or lower face and neck, depending on the area you are having treatment.
If we are treating around the eyes, we use a smaller tip with fewer needles so make it more comfortable and ensure that we can treat as much of the area as possible.
After the treatment is complete, we will cleanse the skin again and apply a cooling spritz of Clinisept spray.
After your treatment
You will receive a complimentary bottle of Clinisept spray at your first treatment, and this is all we would like you to use on your skin for the first 24 hours.
Apply it by spraying it over the skin; you do not need to rub it in. You can use it as often as you like.
There will be some redness in the skin for up to three days. However, most people describe the redness settling sooner.
The skin can flake slightly and feel rough to the touch. This is normal and part of the exfoliating process. Do not pick or pull off any flakes.
After 5-7 days, you can resume your normal skincare routine, including active ingredients.
You must continue to wear sunscreen to protect the skin.
