Perfect for those new to Hydrafacial or if you are short on time!
DELUXE
Still includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, pore extraction and hydrating serum, but we add a personalised booster to address specific concerns such as acne/congestion, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles or dehydration. We also add an LED treatment which uses red, blue or near infra-red (or a combination of all) to further benefit your skin.
PLATINUM
The ultimate Hydrafacial experience includes all the stages of the Deluxe treatment but we add relaxing lymphatic drainage massage to help you relax and unwind, ease puffiness in the face and stimulate blood flow to the skin.
*NEW* MEDICAL HYDRAFACIAL
The Medical Hydrafacial, with the Wet Diamond tip, takes your standard Hydrafacial to the next level. This innovative tool, available exclusively in doctor-led clinics, provides enhanced exfoliation that goes deeper and delivers superior results.
The Wet Diamond tip combines the benefits of traditional diamond microdermabrasion with a hydrating, water-based infusion system. This allows for deeper skin exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and debris while simultaneously hydrating and nourishing the skin. Hydration helps soothe and protect the skin, reducing irritation and providing immediate radiance.
Unlike traditional exfoliation, the Wet Diamond Tip is designed to provide smoother, more even results without causing discomfort or downtime and is more gentle than traditional microdermabrasion devices. This makes it perfect for targeting various skin concerns, such as uneven texture, dullness, and fine lines, while also promoting skin hydration and health.
In addition to the superior exfoliation, the Medical Hydrafacial with Wet Diamond Tip allows for the delivery of powerful, customised medical-grade peels, serums and boosters tailored to your unique skin needs. This treatment can be incorporated into your regular skincare routine for ongoing, visible improvements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a Hydrafacial?
A Hydrafacial is a revolutionary treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts gunk and hydrates your skin in one session. It uses patented technology to deliver amazing results for various skin concerns such as fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin health.
At Romsey Medical Practice, Dr Rachel Tunney ensures that your Hydrafacial is fully customised to your skin’s unique needs, leaving your skin rejuvenated and glowing.
What is a PERK, and how is it different from a regular Hydrafacial?
A PERK is an add-on treatment during your Hydrafacial.
It focuses on specific areas like the lips or eyes, which require a less intense treatment than the rest of the face. The PERK for Lips exfoliates, hydrates, and plumps, while the Perk for Eyes helps reduce puffiness and dark circles.
These are an ideal, targeted way to enhance your overall facial treatment, leaving you with refreshed and youthful-looking eyes and lips!
Do I have to have a consultation before a Hydrafacial?
You can book a Hydrafacial treatment without requiring a consultation. We have time for a brief discussion of your skin type, needs and goals during your appointment.
However, if you also wish to discuss other cosmetic treatments or skincare, we recommend booking either a stand alone consultation, or a consultation with Hydrafacial. This ensures we have adequate time to complete a full aesthetic consultation.
What Hydrafacial Boosters are available during my Hydrafacial?
At Romsey Medical Practice, Dr Rachel Tunney offers a wide range of Hydrafacial Boosters to help you customise your Deluxe or Platinum treatment further. Depending on your skin concerns, we can incorporate the following boosters into your session:
-
- Britenol Booster: Targets dark spots and hyperpigmentation, giving your skin a brighter and more even complexion.
- DermaBuilder Booster: Helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, promoting smoother, younger-looking skin.
- Circadia Protec Plus: A powerful antioxidant booster to protect your skin from environmental stressors and free radicals.
- Circadia Chrono-Peptide: Provides advanced anti-ageing benefits, boosting collagen production for a youthful appearance.
- Murad Retinol Booster: Uses retinol to accelerate skin turnover, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Murad Vita C Booster: Packed with Vitamin C to brighten and even out skin tone while improving overall skin health.
- Murad Clarifying Booster: Ideal for acne-prone skin, it helps to clear breakouts and refine skin texture.
- Rozatrol Booster: Soothes and calms redness and inflammation, especially beneficial for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.
- Omorovicza Booster: A luxurious, hydrating treatment that restores radiance and moisturizes the skin, leaving it deeply nourished.
- NassifMD Hydraglucan Booster: Hydrates and replenishes skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and plump.
- Hydrafacial ReGen GF: Stimulates collagen production and regenerates skin cells, ideal for those seeking skin rejuvenation.
- Hydrafacial Keravive Peptide Complex: Focused on scalp health, this booster promotes healthy hair growth and improves scalp condition.
- *New* Hydrafacial Hydralock Booster: Provides deep hydration, replenishing moisture and keeping your skin feeling smooth and fresh.
How often should I get a Hydrafacial?
For optimal results, Hydrafacial treatments are generally recommended every 4-8 weeks.
However, if you’re preparing for a special event or want to address a specific skin concern, Dr Rachel Tunney may suggest more frequent treatments.
Courses of treatments are available.
How long does a Hydrafacial take?
-
- Hydrafacial Signature: Approximately 30 minutes
- Hydrafacial Deluxe: Approximately 45 minutes
- Hydrafacial Platinum: Approximately 55 minutes
If you opt for combination treatments, please note they may take longer as we believe in providing a relaxed, unrushed experience.
What if I’m allergic to shellfish? Can I have a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial has now removed all animal products from their serums, so shellfish or honey allergies are no longer a concern.
However, if you have an allergy to salicylic acid, it is best to avoid this treatment, as it may cause a reaction.
Always consult with Dr Rachel Tunney to discuss any specific allergies before booking your treatment for complete peace of mind.
Can I combine other treatments with my Hydrafacial?
Absolutely! Many patients combine Hydrafacial with other treatments such as Profhilo, anti-wrinkle injections, Lumecca IPL, or Forma radiofrequency for enhanced results. These treatments work synergistically to hydrate, repair, and rejuvenate the skin.
Dr Rachel Tunney will assess your needs and create a treatment plan that works best for you.
