Dr Rachel Tunney gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree, graduated with merit from the School of Medicine at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2010, following her long-held dream of becoming a doctor. The foundation she built during her years at medical school equipped her with invaluable clinical skills and experience across numerous medical and surgical specialties.

In the early years of her career, Dr Tunney worked in various challenging environments across hospitals in the South of England. During this time, she began her anaesthesia training and developed a particular interest in procedures such as epidurals, spinal blocks, and nerve blocks. However, she soon realised her passion for direct patient relationships, which she felt was missing in her work as an anaesthetist.

After the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Tunney made the bold decision to transition from the NHS to pursue a career in aesthetic medicine. This shift allowed her to combine her love for skincare with advanced injectables and device-based treatments while also enabling her to build meaningful connections with patients and help them feel more confident in their skin. To further her knowledge and skills, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Facial Aesthetics in 2022.

Dr Tunney is deeply committed to providing aesthetic treatments that enhance natural beauty and align with each patient’s unique goals. She views her work as a privilege, supporting patients in achieving their desired results while fostering long-lasting relationships built on trust, care, and personalised attention.
